You don’t need a day of stylist, however having one can make all of the difference. A day of stylist is going to help you with all of your bridal fashion needs on the day of your wedding. What’s the difference between a day-of bridal stylist and day-of coordinator or a wedding planner?
A day-of stylist focuses specifically on the wedding fashion esthetic. They want to make sure your gown and accessories are in perfect condition when you walk down the aisle. Think of them as a fashion stylist for a red carpet event.
A day-of coordinator is there to help assist with all your wedding logistics. It’s their job to make sure the cake has arrived and if you have 150 guests, there are 150 chairs available for your guests to sit in. Is this making any sense?
A wedding planner is responsible for all of your wedding needs before, during and sometimes after the wedding. Once you hire a wedding planner, they will be making sure what you both have decided on and planned all the way up to your wedding is executed properly. Most people hire a wedding planner to keep them on task and if they don’t have time to plan their own wedding and need help with the smaller details.
What is a day-of stylist responsible for?
We are responsible for all fashion related things related to the couple. They are the fashion experts for your wedding. A day of stylist will help you wedding dress shopping, find your accessories and bridal event fashion so that process is less stressful and more enjoyable during your wedding planner process and on the day of your wedding.
What are the benefits of having a day-of bridal stylist?
There are some many benefits from having a bridal stylist. One is the stress free aspect of it. It so much stress added on you not knowing who will be steaming your gown or veil, what type of water you should be using with a steamer. If you purchased the right steamer. If a button pops or a strap, can you or someone else fix it? Who will be responsible for helping you get into your gown without getting makeup on it? The list goes on and on. This is just a few benefits.
